Yesterday I received an email from my dear friend Fiona telling me about Mirror Work. In Robert Holden and Louise Hay's forthcoming book Life Loves you (Hay House, April 2015) there is a great emphasis on the theme of Mirror Work, which is undertaking daily positive affirmations but whilst looking into your own eyes as you say the powerful words to yourself in a mirror.
The affirmation "Life Loves Me" is suggested to be repeated 10 times at once and voiced 5 times daily for 7 consecutive days. Like all positive affirmations, the Mirror Work claims to improve your relationship with yourself, which in turn affects everything in your life. Robert Holden proffers that regularly undertaking Mirror Work will increase your self-esteem, improve your confidence in trusting your intuition and bring more love and compassion into your relationships.
I have a very blessed life but I am as curious as a cat and as motivated as a sports star to always strive to keep the positivity and abundance flowing into my life in any way, shape or form, so I for one will be giving "Life Loves Me" a good old go for the next week. I will be looking out and jotting down any positive manifestations, changes or opportunities that are placed before me and will let you know all about it. If you hear nothing back from me, it either has not worked or I am stuck in the bathroom due to the dodgy lock.
Mirror, Mirror on the wall...
